I believe that the languajes open doors inside of the mind, inside myself and others persons. For me is the possibility of read to Oscar Wilde and to can to entry in the picture of Doryan Gray throug of the words, i want to talk with fictional characters as Lord Henry or Elizabeth Bennet of Pride and Prejudice, i would like to live an love history of Jane Austen in my inner world.
Also, i think that as journalism i must to have the comunicative abilities for become to be a social comunicator, but myheart born reason has to do with entering english literature.

ResponderEliminarI agree with you when you say that reading a book in it's original lenguage makes a big difference. I would like to do that with the russians, because the lenguage structure is so different from us that the translator becomes essential for the final meaning of the book.
Oh, I feel really ansius to some day read Walt Whittman in English.
