English Languajes Challenges
I think learning English at university is interesting , unlike other classes. These classes are specialized for language teaching English to journalists. I think that the use blogging is good, because the learning becomes more personal, more interior. But I think one of the weaknesses of the program has to do with the oral part .
A good strategy for this would draw the lessons of the classroom and take them to something more practical , perhaps to carry out journalistic work as to interview people who speak English , for example , interviewing exchange students, or realize columns-video, etc.
I think it is also necessary to improve the functional aspect of the course , ie , linking it to other classes, for example , if a work is done in the course of journalistic chronicle, this should be translated for the English class, or if in the class of radio the students do a podcast , make a second version of it aimed at persons that talk in this language. Same with other classes, as television, reports and news, and even research . In this way , students will enhance your personal style of writing in another language.
Currently I do not speak English outside the classroom. However, I would like to generate journalistic writings for internet content - even audiovisual- in English. Well, in the future, when i will start working , this language will be very important to enhance my career.
CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME
Some changes that could be made to my study programme, career in journalism at the University of Chile, are encouraging to self-management, independence and freedom.
At this university we are taught many important things ; the search for truth , the role of the journalist as an intermediary between different parts of society and the importance of having a critical thought. However , once we graduated and we enter the working world , we realize that the search for truth is impossible without freedom, especially economic freedom. Journalists do not earn good wages , Chile has an informative duopoly led by entrepreneurs , who fit the truth at their convenience and interests.
The world is not pink , and although the University of Chile is one of the best in the country , lacks a vision that promotes free press and media self-management .
Today, the technology is very important for independent journalists , for those who want to communicate without social , economic or cultural limits their prospects of reality or those events occurring in the country that are not covered and exposed by the traditional press .
For this reason , I consider it very important to strengthen the kinds of digital and multimedia journalism, and add in the school curriculum related to entrepreneurship , running for public funds and / or private.
The workload and length of studies ought to be a maximum of three years, with the possibility to access online classes and free on-site support , except exams.
The use of the technology is very important, it is necessary to have good computers and laptops for student use , intelligent and technology classrooms , and streaming -enabled cameras for online classes with trained technicians to keep these classrooms running.
In general , I believe that the curriculum of journalism is a bit outdated for the context in which we are, but the critical vision, the teachings regarding writing , television and radio are fine, if a little long . Necessary improvements the ways taught general discourse , promote the creation of multimedia texts and promote values such as freedom, individual self and group as journalists.
I like this university, but needs to be improved , in addition to the curriculum , administrative organization , bureaucracy , since every day more difficult the proper functioning of teachers , students and within this enclosure.
I think the University of Chile must adapt in matters of innovation and research in the area of communications , that enhances future journalists capable of promoting the values of this institution.

Winter Holidays in Huepil
In winter holidays I would like to visit my family who lives in southern Chile. They live in the region of Biobio , in the city of Los Angeles and around it. There are many places I can visit in this area, because I have many relatives . In the City of Angels lives my aunt Monica, a very friendly and talkative woman. If I visit her, the first thing we will is a delicious family lunch at home, and the next day we visit his family in the field , they have land beside the river Rarinco .
After, I will visit my dad, he also lives in the city with his wife and my little sister , Isidora . When i will visit my dad, i want to go out to walk the city center , and the next day we will visit the village Huepil.
Huepil is a town that has about 10 thousand inhabitants. The name of this town comes from Mapudungún and means "place of the rainbow " . My father's family - the Salazar- comes from that place , so I have many uncles , aunts , and cousins .
With my father and his family, we will visit his mother in law, in Huepil , his name is Luz, and she is a widow who has a hostel in the center of town. She does not like to talk much , but cooks very well ! The last time I visited her , she cooked buns and homemade tortillas embers .
I will ask my dad that we will visit Uncle Mario , he is a very friendly and hardworking man , he likes the good life , celebrations and parties , so when we get the kill one of his lambs to honor us, and we will prepare an " asado al palo " for a pleasant family afternoon
After that I will return to Satiago , to descanzar in my house vacation days remaining .

I love to cook , but there is no particular food that I like to cook for myself. I think that the cuisine is an art , also is a magic moment and of meditation. People are accustomed to perceive the world through the eyes , but what about the rest of the senses? Through the kitchen it is possible to perceive the world using smell , touch and taste.
Through the cuisine you can find small pleasures that are invisible to our daily lives. I don't like the culture of fast food , I prefer the Japanese culinary culture , not just for the delicious food , but by the ritualization of the whole process .
The sushi is an example of it- besides being one of my favorites food when i have decided to cook something- because in its esthetic is possible perceive the process of the ritualization. When I cook sushi , besides having to worry me of have all food ingredients, I must have also supplies and instruments as a wooden bowl, a wooden spoon and hand fan, because the process deserves special care.
